Officers raided properties in Chatham
Five people have been arrested after police in Medway raided a number of properties.
On Tuesday, May 14, officers carried out early morning house-to-house enquiries in New Road, Chatham, after smelling cannabis coming from a property. The officers conducted a search and found drugs believed to be Class A and B and estimated to be worth more than £3,000.
All four occupants found at the property were arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply; a 24-year-old man of no fixed address, a 30-year-old man from Chatham, an 18-year-old woman from Chatham and a 25-year-old man from Gillingham.
Officers investigating the incident arrested a 21-year-old man, from Chatham, the next day on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of controlled drugs.
All five people have been bailed until July 12 pending further enquiries.
