Nurse Mary Kirk and her team at Medway Primary Care Trust have picked up a top industry award.
The British Heart Foundation nurse consultant and department won the innovation through education and research category at the annual cardiac nursing awards.
On receiving the trophy Mary said: “We were honoured to receive the award and wish to acknowledge the support we received from the BHF training department, Dr Susie Wilkinson, national lead in advanced communications and a local patient called Tony, who has helped in the filming of the training video we produced.”
